Our dining table has become my work space lately. As I have a project I want to get it done which require some drawings, I stuck at home almost everyday last week. Now I’m having a lazy sunday afternoon at this table and all the stuff are still sitting next to me. By the way, do you remember my DIY candle holders? Anthropologie mug has been used as a water container for watercolor paint.

new business card

I finally updated my business card..yes! Since I wanted a specific look (thicker paper with edge coloring), it took me a while to find a company but it was worth it. The Mandate Press offers a reasonable price of letterpress with edge coloring and I love the result. I was going to use pink coloring, but thought gold would look better with my illustration. What do you think?
久しぶりに名刺を新しくしました。具体的に作りたいイメージがあったので（エンボス加工、厚めの紙に周りに色入れ）色々探して少し時間がかかったけど想像通りのができてよかった! The Mandate Pressは他よりリーズナブルな値段でエンボス加工も周りの色入れもしてくれるのでお勧めです。最初ピンクにしようと思ったけど、このデザインにはゴールドの方が合う気がして変更しました

japanese sweets

My illustrations are up on The Equals Record. I drew traditional japanese sweets (called “wagashi”). I kept thinking about getting some “wagashi” while drawing them, but I managed to finish without going to a japanese grocery store. but I will. Soon.. More illustrations here

The Equals Record にイラストが載ったのでよかったら見てみて下さい。イラスト描き始めたら無性に和菓子が食べたくなりもう少しで日本のスーパーに行く所だったけど少し距離があって面倒になり結局行かずに仕上げました。仕方なく家にあったアイスを食べたけど近いうち買いに行こう、、と地味に決意した所☆
