It’s been a while since I made icing cookies as my icing season is during the holidays. It was fun making them and baby shower cookies are the cutest, aren’t they? I always love baby pink, blue or yellow color themes. So adorable! I wanted to use baby bottle and onesie cutters, but couldn’t find nice shapes around my place. I should’ve ordered online earlier.. my bad.

ホリデーシーズン以来久しぶりにアイシングクッキーを作りました。Baby Showerのデコレーションは淡い色を使う事が多いので可愛い♥ 今回は男の子だったのでベイビーブルー。本当はミルクボトルとワンピースの型を使いたかったのにすぐ見つかると思ったら良い形のが見つからず結局ある型で。前もってネットでオーダーしておくべきだった。。

There are color icings in the store, but I usually mix with white icing and food coloring to get an exact color I want.

色のついたアイシングも売ってるけど、出したいトーンのイメージがあるのでいつも白のアイシングにフードカラーリング(食紅) を混ぜて使いたい色を作ります。

Loving these little bear shape. It’s perfect for baby shower cookies too.
久しぶりに使ったクマの型も可愛くてお気に入り。

I’ve never thought about giving cookies to my friends/family as birthday gifts ,unless it’s for a bd party, because it’ll be too many pieces to give it to just one or two persons (think he/she’ll be sick of it before finishing less than half!). However, it turned out great when there were four people I can give them to. After making lots of holiday cookies, it was refreshing to make something different too. :)

今までパーティでもない限り家族や友達の誕生日にクッキーをプレゼントするって思いつかなかったけど（かなり大量に作るので1人や2人だけに渡すには多すぎでこんなにもらっても..って事態になるはず?）こないだ義理姉達とお土産に渡すので４人分を作ったら皆とても喜んでくれて良いギフトになりました♥ ベースはシュガーとココアの２種類でアイシングは（白以外）フードカラリングで色を付けてます。久しぶりにホリデークッキー以外のを作ったけど又違う雰囲気で楽しかった☆

日本はまだお正月ムードかな？こっちは２日から普通の生活に戻るので新年のムードもなにもありません。。遅くなる前にホリデー中にアップしたインスタグラム写真達です：沢山ある中でも素敵だったグローブのツリー。久しぶりのスパンコールTワンピ。新年はカップケーキを焼きました。買い物の合間に友達と軽食。今年のホリデーカード。アイシング前の星型クッキー。New yearパーティの風船達。シンプルでお気に入りな黒ワンピ。星型クッキーでクッキーツリー。金の文字が可愛かったのでRegram。久しぶりのプリクラ（風?）。ショッピングには最適スニーカー。初トライした2色クッキー

I enjoy being a baker this time of the year, and have done quite a lot of icing cookies. So I wanted to make something a little different this time for a potluck party. Two tone cookies are eye catchers and you can enjoy two taste. I could make chocolate cookies (like last time) but made red velvet instead, it’s more festive isn’t it? I added cocoa powder and food coloring to a regular dough. We can make them in any shape we like to fit any theme, of course- that’s what I love about icing cookies. :) p.s. I bought small cookie cutters at Target and love the tiny snowman etc!

この時期になるとベーカーになる私。今年ももう数回アイシングクッキーを作ったので今回は少しアレンジして２カラーのクッキーにしてみました。クッキーでなくてもいいんだけど持ち運びやすいのでつい又.. 前回同様チョコレートクッキーでもよかったけど赤い方がホリデーっぽいかとレッドベルベットにしてみました。通常の小麦粉の10-15%をココアパウダーに変えて赤のフードカラリングを混ぜました。ミニクッキー型はターゲットで買いました。
